 Purpose and scope

The instrument is designed and made as per GB/T387 Test Methods for Sulfur Content of Petroleum Products (Tubular Furnace Method) in the National Standard of Peoples Republic of China. It is suitable to determine sulfur content in the black petroleum products as per standard GB/T387.

Burn sample in the purified high temperature air flow completely at a certain flow rate and absorb sulfurous acid anhydride and sulfuric acid anhydride by oxidized hydrogen and sulfuric acid. Then titrate sulfuric acid using standard sodium hydroxide solution.
